Thanks to markmoses for pointing out the firmware upgrade for Vodafone Zuhause Talk & Web 3g router. Firmware v2.63 was released on 20 Sept 2007 as a maintenance release. Unfortunately, Vodafone Support did not mention the purpose of the release. I personally have not tested this firmware yet. My unit was upgraded to v2.50 from v2.37 .
To download the firmware, click here. Please try it on your own risk. The firmware upgrade is irreversible.

If anyone tried v2.63, please share with us what’s the changes in this new firmware. Thanks

I seriously don’t know what’s happening with Streamyx nowadays. Last week’s connection was slow. Today, I can’t even surf international sites. The problem actually started since last night but it was not so severe yet. I can’t manage my domain DNS, can’t use MSN..I CAN’t EVEN OPEN GMAIL @$@$%353 523$%@ Sigh When will this end????? After 2020 ?

Because I couldn’t get into international sites, I stumbled onto a lot of good local blogs. I was reading AhYap’s blog just now. I totally agree to his tagline. ” Better than reading newspaper” . A definately must visit site… but be aware, this site is made for people with “big hearts” only.

I received a confirmation earlier as my domain urbanreality.net has successfully been transfered to TUCOWS . As I expected, my website was down for 3 hours. They did not help me update my DNS to my previous one but replaced them with ipower’s DNS instead.
So, I tried to login to my domain management page but kept getting error that says my user/pass is invalid. I had no choice but to get customer support. I guess it’s either they have limited staff or they just have too many customers to attend to that I waited for nearly 45 minutes. I was attended by this guy called Winston. He was able to solve my problem in just minutes. He just reseted the password and resend the account details to me.
After login into the domain management, the first thing I did was to change all the DNS to my hosting. I thought it would take 12 hours or more to have the DNS updated. It took only 20 minutes instead and I was able to access my site again. Gee… that was quick!
