Finally, I got my my own 3G account. But there was a catch, which was somehow expected.. Only Celcom Postpaid users who also have a Streamyx account can sign up for the D88 plan. Sigh ! I had no choice but to take the D120 package instead. That means I have to pay RM120 per month for the 3G access.
I registered the line today noon and it got activated at around 7pm . The clerk told be it gonna take 24 hours to get my account activated. But instead, it took only 7 hours to get 3G-fied ! LoL . So far, the connection here at my apartment in Setapak Indah is acceptable. I get either 2–3 bar signal.

I got my 3G but didn’t go through all the trouble you went thru. Quite happy with it, especially now I am connected even when I am out of office most of the time. Thank you, Celcom!
