hie guys… for you information, every pc settings and configuration are different. for those who are able to solve the issue thru this post, i’m happy for ya.. but those who are not able to solve it, please don’t flame me. I’m just trying to help by sharing the information. I’m not the one who created the Messenger nor I’m the tech support for Microsoft products.

And those who helped and shared some information on how to resolve the issue. I thank you and I do appreciate your valuable feedback .

okay this is what i did, on the bottom right hand corner, i right clicked the little msn sign and clicked exit, after about 3 minutes i opened it again through Start, All Programs. then i logged in again & it worked

its not working. my vista do not have some dll files: initpki.dll gpkcsp.dll slbcsp.dll sccbase.dll. how can i fix it?

i use another line can log in…
but use my line hav tis problem..

hello all,
i just tried this and it didn’t work.
BUT,
i proceeded to exit live messenger and somehow a window popped up, saying it had to close and asked me if i wanted to send an error report.

anyways, i went back to the C:\Documents and Settings\”Your Windows logon name”\Local Settings\Application Data\Microsoft\Windows Live Contacts folder, deleted all the email accounts. i realized there were some folders with incorrect emails, all those went too. i restarted Messenger, worked fine!

don’t know what did it, but i hope all your problems get resolved
